FRAUD CASE ROCKS DEMOCRATIC PARTY

There is something very interesting in the shameful case of a veteran California political treasurer being accused of stealing more than $1 million dollars from Democratic candidates across California. If you have not already read the article in The Wall Street Journal please take a look via this link.

Let me be perfectly clear that a case of this nature could happen within the rank of either the Republican or Democrat Party, but unfortunately for the Democrats they are the victims of this alleged criminal action. It is apparent that several prominent California political figures are victims, such as Senator Dianne Feinstein, and the problems exposed here are something that have been suspected over an extended period of time.

One would be correct in wondering how this criminal action could happen without appropriate oversight by political figures that are ultimately responsible for safe-guarding the financial fortunes of State and Federal government. If our political leaders cannot provide over-sight for their own money, how can we expect them to protect the taxpayer’s funds? This is not a funny matter, but it is difficult to not have a smile on your face when reading the story.
