WHOSE BLOWOUT IS IT, ANYWAY?

That is the title to a very interesting article written by Charles Krauthammer dated May 28th, which appeared in many newspapers around the country and on Townhall.com. As I have stated before, although he is considered a conservative, it is your Commander’s opinion that Krauthammer is one of the most level headed analyzers of political commentary on the horizon today. Here is the link to his column:

The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico will have long lasting consequences to our entire country, but currently the emotional commentaries are all too frequently totally missing the real issues. Krauthammer cuts through all the huff and puff of both sides of this devastating accident. Clearly, there is plenty of blame to pass around, but few realistic answers for a prompt conclusion.

This oil leak is such a sad situation. It is so disturbing to see that oil pouring out of that deep well day after day after day after day.. It's a disaster of biblical proportions!! Yes, a leak in the arctic would be FAR easier to stop, wouldn't it! At least it is not a mile below water.. people CAN go there and cap it!!
