SILENT MAJORITY WAKES UP

It has taken eight months of the President Barack Obama Administration to awaken the silent majority. There was a very interesting poll taken by AT&T/ Yahoo, and it asked a simple direct question.

Q. The president’s progress with the battered economy has been both praised and criticized. How well are his efforts measuring up with you?

Extremely well. We are undoubtedly moving in the right direction - 9%

Fairly well. There’s still a long way to go - 9%

Not well at all. His plans are hurting more than helping - 80%

Not sure/No opinion - 2%

Total votes (As of 8/17/09) 259,826 votes

Apparently the mandate has hit a wall, and the natives are restless. One should wonder just how Rahm Emanuel will address this crisis.
