THE VOTING CLOCK IS TICKING AWAY

In less than two months we will be going to the polls to vote in an election that may be the most important one in which any of us have participated. As I have repeatedly been saying lately, it is vital for Republicans, Democrats, and Independents to become active in the election process and make their voices heard. I urge each and every voter to examine the candidates closely by doing some research about their records and positions on the vital issues of the day.

With this in mind I suggest we all remember a quotation from Edmund Burke (1729-1797) who was an Irish political philosopher, Whig politician, and statesman who is often regarded as the “father” of modern conservatism.

“FOR EVIL TO FLOURISH, ALL THAT IS NEEDED IS FOR GOOD PEOPLE TO DO NOTHING”

The future of our country is in all of our hands, and if we do not participate in the election process we have nobody to blame but ourselves. Remember that many have given their lives to guarantee our precious right to vote. It is time to proudly step forward and cast your vote for America’s proud future.
