As a native born Chicagoan I frequently write critically of my old home town. Having experienced the misfortunes of political operatives for decades one must admit that criticism of ‘Chicago-way politics’ has been well earned, but the citizens continue to re-elect the same old gang year after year. Apparently enough “juice” is passed around to get the votes for the Democrats and ‘business as usual’ prevails.
I received this comical email this morning and just could not pass-up the opportunity to share it with you, so here it is:
“SUBJECT: Bin Laden & Gaddafi Are Definitely Dead
This just in:
There is finally conclusive evidence that Osama bin Laden and Muammar Gaddafi are dead.
Yesterday, they both registered to vote in Chicago."
Sometimes things just never change or so it seems in my old home town.
